Asian stainless steel cold-rolled price remains stable

Stainless steel cold-rolled product prices in the Asian region remained stable last week. Meanwhile, cold-rolled prices in China bounced due to low stock as well as high futures prices.

During the whole last week, the price level in the domestic Chinese market didn't change too much, only a few slight fluctuations could be observed.

Although the spot price in the South China region increased a little, since the stock price was still high, there was still room for the price to go down.

Besides, now the production cost of stainless steel still stands at a very high level, so the steel factories are trying their best to sustain the price from any kind of further dropping.
